Starting in September, it will be possible to participate in the training course ‘Inappropriate & aggressive behavior’, specifically developed for youth and family professionals. The training focuses on improving your communication and actions in situations involving inappropriate behavior and/or aggression at work. The aim is to maintain the professional working relationship with clients as effectively as possible. These situations are often tense, putting communication under pressure; word choice and non-verbal reactions can be easily misinterpreted, or you may fail to consider the other person’s perspective adequately. Learning means adopting new behavior — and that doesn’t happen automatically! A single day of training is not enough to ensure lasting impact. We’re all familiar with how newly gained knowledge and skills can quickly fade as daily demands take over. By continuing to develop, learning from one another in a structured way, and embedding this process, we can achieve lasting results for ourselves and our colleagues. After the training, you will receive a reader containing all the information covered during the session, so you can continue to work with it afterward.
