We thought, \u201cSounds great! Just a fun chat about provocative coaching.\u201d Until we heard\u2026 it\u2019s being filmed. And that it\u2019ll be available for <em>everyone<\/em> to see. \u201cUh\u2026 wait, <em>everyone<\/em> will actually see this?\u201d. Yep. Mild panic! But it all turned out just fine.\u00a0The cameras started rolling, the mics were on, and the first questions about what provocative coaching actually is came flying at us. The interviewer was well-prepared \u2014 but sometimes our answers made him hesitate. You could see the confusion on his face&#8230; and then, when the penny dropped, he burst out laughing. Priceless!\u00a0That\u2019s exactly the effect of provocative coaching. With humor, warmth, and challenge, we give you a nudge \u2014 or a good kick in the butt. We hold up a mirror that\u2019s confronting, but mostly: it wakes you up. We were cracking up too at the interviewer\u2019s spontaneous reactions and outspoken thoughts. \u201cWait \u2014 can you <em>say<\/em> that in a podcast?\u201d. Oh yes, you can.\u00a0We shared real examples of provocative interventions that actually get people moving. Like the time we encouraged someone to fully embrace their talent for insecurity \u2014 by obsessing even more over their self-doubt and convincing themselves <em>even harder<\/em> that they weren\u2019t good enough. That kind of talent? Totally unique! The result? Transformation \u2014 with a big wink.<\/p>\n<p>And there\u2019s more to come: we\u2019re launching a full podcast series on provocative coaching! We\u2019re excited to challenge, inspire, and above all show that provocative coaching can be powerful <em>and<\/em> fun \u2014 without being dry or heavy.
