There are seven basic emotions that can be seen in our body language. In all cultures, these emotions are expressed on the face in the same way. Studies of people who were born blind have shown that micro-expressions are not learned culturally \u2014 we are biologically equipped with this information from birth. It\u2019s how our brain translates emotional impulses. Most people cannot consciously control these subtle muscle contractions, as they are directly driven by emotion. However, some universal gestures can carry different meanings across cultures.\u00a0Body language is not a trick, but a form of genuine communication.
